Travel Information

Air/Ground Transportation

Seattle is served by the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SeaTac). Sound Transit operates a regional rail and bus system, including the Link Light Rail line between downtown Seattle and SeaTac airport.

From the airport, Link Light Rail will take you to the convention center in about 38 minutes for $2.75. Shuttle buses also go to the major hotels. A taxi ride takes 20 to 30 minutes, depending on traffic, and costs about $40.

Rail

Amtrak provides train service along the West Coast. The Amtrak Cascades line runs three trains a day between Seattle and Portland; two runs stop in Eugene, Oregon. The trains stop at King Street Station, just south of downtown Seattle.

Use APA's special code — X38V-920 — and save 10 percent on the best available Amtrak fares for travel to and from Seattle between April 15 and April 24, 2015. Call 800-872-7245 to book your reservation. This offer is not valid on Auto Train and Acela Service.

Ground

Metro Transit bus stops can be found all around downtown Seattle. From Westlake Center, near the convention center, Monorail trains connect to the Space Needle, Pacific Science Center, Experience Music Project Museum, and more.
